Please tell us more about your background, how you got interested in blockchain & DeFi and what you are currently working on?
I have graduated a master’s degree from INSEEC Business School in Digital and Strategy. I have worked in different types of organization in different fields: energy, retail, fashion and digital. My main area of expertise is marketing and specially SEO and SEA. I got interested in Blockchain technology in 2016 through two friends Rayane and Axel who became later one on my associates.
I am currently starting all over not from scratch on a « new » product: an application dedicated to crypto currency users
What have been your most important failures and what did you learn from it?
The semi « failure » of my first project Cartam as entrepreneur. What did I learn from it? Always be true to yourself, it’s OK to fail if you learn from it, and if you get back on your feet. Life and Work are like giant roller coasters sometimes up sometimes down.
As long as you can project yourselves and have the will to achieve your goals, I believe you can accomplish everything you want. You have to learn to say no. To grow you need to be able to delegate.
If you could change anything from the past, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t, I believe we did what we did with what we had at that time, you can always reshape the world afterwards. However, I would say: be prepared, always be more prepared, ask, try, fail and repeat.
What is the slight moment which changes everything for you?
When you take the decision to do it
What soft & hard skills have been most helpful in helping you succeed in the DeFi?
I will answer on my level.
You must have a teamwork spirit, strong organizational skills and have a critical-thinking approach. Also, I would say, being able to read a lot, you always must be up to date.
I believe you must also be capable to communicate with others: present, explain, defend your idea and be open to criticisms. And if you don’t have those skills it’s OK, you can learn and fake it till you make it.
How have DeFi and blockchain changed your life?
It has changed my perspectives and the way I am doing things. I really believe that blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies (and by extent DeFi) can help solve some of the problems we are currently dealing on a worldwide level.
Before I started Magna Numeris (the name of our company), I never believed I would one day create a company and even more running it.

What problem does your project solve?
Cryptocurrencies adoption and democratization. I really believe that cryptocurrency can become more a mean of exchange rather than a store of value.
How do you manage to grow your project and find clients?
Everybody wants to know the answer.
What's the most important or impactful project about DeFi you created ? What made it so important or impactful?
Our first project with Magna Numeris: Cartam, a P2P marketplace dedicated to cryptocurrency users on desktop. For me, this project is important because it made me growth and changed my way of doing things.
What is a typical day for you? What are your work habits? (Planning, how you work, rules you set for yourself, etc.)
I have to-do list for pretty much everything (weekly / monthly). If something is done, I just check it. I wake up at 7am, meditate then go for a run. I start to work at 9am and finish around 7pm sometimes more, then I usually do sport.
I don’t have a particular organization for my daily tasks, I am using tools to follow up my tasks, I just do my best to not mix the subjects. I am working 1 hour for a client, then I am working 1 hour on our website.
What is different working as a founder for DeFi & blockchain topics?
I have only been a founder for DeFi & Blockchain topics, I can’t really answer but, I don’t believe there is any difference with any other topic: If you want to be the best at what you are doing and achieve your goal you always must be “up to date” and be able to work a lot and work smart.
Which tools do you use in your daily life as a founder?
What are the best resources (media, blog, influencer, podcast, nl…) you follow to be always up to date on the DeFi and your niche?
Who is your favorite DeFi Project?
This one is not a DeFi project. However I believe it can be one of the most impactful in the blockchain area in the next few years: VeChain (VET).
What is your vision for your niche? What do you expect to come in the next few years? What developments in the field do you find to be the most exciting?
I believe we are still exploring and there is so much more to do and discover. More and more people are starting to use blockchain technology and by extent cryptocurrencies. I think we are going to expect a massive adoption regarding the use of cryptocurrencies.
What kind of challenges do you look for today?
The democratization of cryptocurrency and its use. Also, always learn and discover new projects, things, talk with people from different backgrounds with different goals.
Any tips for the beginners who aspire to work in this domain, but feel completely overwhelmed to even start competing?
Have a plan, make sure you cover everything then start and trust me it will not go as planning but it’s OK! I believe it’s like life and to what I was talking about previously: the idea of “roller coaster”.
There will never be a “good time” to start. You must believe in yourself because at first nobody will but only you. Everybody starts somewhere at a point and what others did doesn’t define who you are or can be.
Look at your competitors (if), look at those who succeed and those who failed and ask you why?
